CSLA 1.1 on VS.net 2008?

Can I run my older CSLA 1.1 objects in a new VS.net 2008 project?

I am trying to right now and running into the: Principal must be of type BusinessPrincipal

I need to figure out if this is a 1.1 issue on 2008 or is it something else (which it totally could be).

Any help is appreciated.

That exception occurs because the data portal is set to use custom authentication and is expecting that the client has set up a principal object that is a BusinessPrincipal. This is a pretty common CSLA configuration issue, and so might not be related to your use of 2008.
