Hello everyone.

We are getting ready to start a project and are planning on using the following technologies.

VS2008
WPF
CAB/SCSF (We are not using Prism due to the lack of GAX/GAT tools at the moment)
CSLA 3.0.4
SQL Server 2005

Does anyone see any issues or have any feedback on this combinatino of technologies?  We are new to some of the technology so we are trying to make sure that everything will fit together nicely in this scenario.

Thanks!

Why use this older version: CSLA 3.0.4?

As I recall there may still be databinding problems in the old code base.

I am planning to jump straight to 3.6 in a few weeks.

The only reason for this is that we may need to share the library with an application that is not targeting the 3.5 framework. From what I understand, this may be an issue.

I haven't had much of a chance to look at 3.6 yet... I'm just now getting comfortable with 3.0 :)

Thanks for the feedback... I'll download and start looking at 3.6.

*** Any other feedback?

I have only read this - no actual experience - but I have read in a few places that CAB/SCSF and WPF don't always play well together.  And based on what I've read from MS on this, using that combination will require a kind of hybrid approach, which makes me wonder about the benefits of using WPF in this situation.
