Rocky -

Just looking for an update on the CSLA for Windows/WPF programming video series.  IIRC, filming was to be done mid-September.  I've looked around and haven't seen any mention of when they might be released.

Just checking...

I'm still working on it... A bunch of things came up at the end of the summer which really disrupted my overall schedule.

The lecture portions of the series have been filmed, and I'm working on recording the demo/walkthrough portions over the next couple weeks. Then everything needs to be edited together.

Cool.  Have you given any thought to the pricing structure/cost?  Will it be similar to the Silverlight/web series?

Thanks for the update!

The way it will work is similar to the SL series, but not quite the same.

There’ll be a 6 part “core” series:

1.       Introduction

2.       Object stereotypes

3.       Data access

4.       Using the data portal (2- and 3-tier)

5.       Business and validation rules

6.       Authentication/Authorization

I plan to sell that as a unit, much like the SL series.

Then there’ll be individual video segments for different interface technologies. They’ll be released and sold separately, and will probably come out in this order:

1.       WPF

2.       ASP.NET MVC

3.       Windows Forms

4.       ASP.NET Web Forms

5.       WCF Services

These will be sold individually.
