Description of Project:

Investment Banking – real-time treasury systems based on oo design patterns, .
Net, SQLServer & IBM Queuing.

Description of role/department:

·       The technology department provides global solutions for business users.

·       The role is for a leading edge developer to produce object-oriented designs
and develop real-time Windows & web-based systems.

Responsibilities:

·       Deliver software components to specification and time as directed by manager.

·       Work with users and team members to identify innovative solutions and implement them.

Education:

·       Degree in Technology related subject

·        

Work experience:

·         4+ years post qualification .Net systems development experience

·         Experience of working as part of a team in a fast paced environment

·         Experience of relational databases

·         Ability to take responsibility for your system components

·         Banking/Financial experience

·         Experience of Reporting tools

·         Agile techniques

Technical skills:

·         High volume/capacity real-time systems

·         N-tier Development

·         C# .NET Winforms / Webforms / etc.(vs2005+)

·         Databinding with 3^rd party controls

·         Multithreading

·         OO Techniques/Business Objects/Encapsulation

·         Design Patterns

·         SQL Server (2005/2008)

·         Xml

·         Strong analysis skills

·         CSLA

·         IBM WebSphere MQSeries

·         Infragistics Control Suite

·         .NET Remoting / Communications

·         Working knowledge of .Net Reflection
