we just moved our CSLA remote servers from Win2003/IIS6  to win2008/IIS7 just to notice that performance degraded to the point that it takes our calling website timeouts when the remote objects are requested - please, any suggestions would be most appreciated!

I'd put fiddler on the wire to see what the traffic looks like. Odds are you are hitting some sort of security issue or something that's causing network overhead to establish the connection - something like that.
