While going through the code, i came across this suggestion and thought to post it here.

 

We can add one functionality in Data Mapper i.e. if suppress exceptions is true and any errors are caught while mapping then it should add those columns in a separate list (ColSkipped) and raise event so business developer can act accordingly.

Yes, this is a good idea. It is one of several I'm considering for some future version of CSLA, and it fits right in with the broader goal of trying to provide at least one "formally supported" data access mechanism within the context of CSLA.

In the end, I don't know if I'll really go for a formally supported data access concept, but I do know that I have a list of enhancements for DataMapper that are likely to happen regardless Smile [:)]
