SafeDataReader has a GetDateTime that returns a DateTime. This fits the following System.Data.DbType:

Date
DateTime
DateTime2
SmallDateTime

SafeDataReader is missing the following methods:

GetDateTimeOffset that should return a DateTimeOffset
GetTime that should return a TimeSpan
