I'm trying to decide the best way to handle a situation where I display a detail view of an existing record for update. The detail view contains a drop down with some options for a field. The record being updated is bound to the detail view. But the value for the field represented by the drop down no longer is available in the drop down. The data bind is failing... Does anyone have some methods of handling this in the best way?
