I'm runing my BO's thru fxcop and receving the following error:

Field _editDate is a member of type FUNDEZ.BizObj.StatesBase`1, which is serializable, but is of type Csla.SmartDate, which is not serializable. Add the NonSerializedAttribute to _editDate.

Should I correct my code or ignore the rule?
