Batch processing, reporting

Just bought Expert VB 2005 Business Objects 2nd Edition. Is it true that Batch Processing and Reporting are no longer described in this book? The edition for VB 2003 had them.

That's true, but the concepts remain the same, and some have ported the relevent Csla code to 2.0.
