If I'm not mistaken from the Codesmith templates I downloaded a week or two ago, it seems the generated business objects are coded to create a GUID and pass it by parameter to the INSERT stored procedure, whereas the generated INSERT stored procedure is coded to generate its own GUID via NEWID().
Am I correct about this apparent mismatch? If so, then it would be helpful to reconcile the generation templates.
Also, is there an inherent benefit of one approach over the other?
