Template for EditableRoot doesn't generate GetObject(datarow) function

Is this intentional? The template for EditableRootLists generates a call to the child object that passes in a datarow but the child object (An EditableRoot object) doesn't have the functionality to accept the datarow; it will only accept an int for the GetObject function. Is this intentional or do I need to set something in the template that I am missing?
