There are lots of threads covering this same topic on the forum. Have a browse thru!
Also, Rockford Lhotka's book on the architecture does a great job of explaining the features of the csla architecture.

- It focuses that developer toward making maintainable, object -oriented code.
- It provides solutions for many of the plumbing issues that every application has, allowing the business object developer to focus on the behavior of the business objects.
- It integrates with many other parts of the .NET framework so that developers do not have to reinvent the wheel with issues such as security and UI presentation of data.
- It has a worldwide community that will help new and experienced users with questions that they have.
- It keeps pace with new technologies and incorporates those that are applicable.
- It has a generous license that allows developers to modify their own copies of the framework.
- Features that are not used do not cause a performance/memory hit.

Put simply, it makes your life much easier. This of course, will only happen as long as you take the time to study and understand it thoroughly and don’t try to cut corner or use the speed read method.
Trusts us, if you have never used a professional OO framework before, this framework will blow you away.

Yes, all this advantages are correct, except, in my opinion, DataAccess level. I think it must be more (if not to say all) automatedajj3085 replied on Thursday, December 14, 2006
Well in all honesty that is the best place. you can also check out onelittlevictory.com, that's supposed to be a great tutorial site.
If there are parts of the book that you find confusing, try re-reading them again. Understanding the book is vital to understanding how to use the framework, in my opinion. If you still can't figure out something in the book, post here and I'm sure we can help you out.
