I'm getting this from some of my clients. But only some of them (like 5 out of a 100):

Could Not Load file or assembly System.enterpriseservices Version 2.0.0.0.

I'm using click once to install the app. The app downloads and installs fine. The app starts fine. The app starts at a log in screen. When I click "OK" on the log on screen, I get this exception.

I'm not using the enterprise services dataportal in my applications so I may be wrong about this. But, does your client application need a reference to the csla.enterpriseservices to run? For some reason I'm thinking just the core assembly project needs the reference. Am I wrong?

We had a problem simular to this. A particular assembly/class could not load.

We solved it by uninstalling both .net 1.1 and .net 2 then re-installing both after making sure sp2 was installed.

Never really knew what the problem was but in a couple of cases .net 2 was installed before 1.1. And it might have to do with the service packs being installed also.
