I must be the densest person on the planet but - I followed the 3 simple steps on page 580 of the book for configuring IIS to host the PtWebService. When I try to browse PTService.asmx or even http://localhost all I get is messages like:
The setting in IIS were all at default to start with:
Allow anonymous access checked.
IUSR_WPC64 as the user
Integrated Security Checked.
Since then I have tried every permutation of setting that I can think of but none of them work. There must be something simple and obvious that I either have overlooked or don't understand that would solve this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
