Remote DataPortal web.config cached?

Hi guys.

Are the settings in web.config in a Csla app using a Remote Remoting DataPortal re-read on each call to the DataPortal? It seems like they are, and we are considering using this to enable us to switch on/off trace messages at the server. Any implications of changing this file whilst the dataportal is is use at all?

Changing the web.config will restart the Asp.Net application, which would cause any reads to be from the config file.

I'm not sure if there's any caching after the initial read, but if you change the web.config, you'll definatly get the latest values.
