Is it possible to bind a report directly to a business object, or do you have to create a dataset bassed on the object and bind the report to the dataset.

I know you can point the report at a business object when you create the report, but I can't seem to get it to bind to the object at runtime.

I would hope by now Crystal does let you do this. The Business Objects Crystal website might be worth searching. I know in previous versions I had to use a DataSet but havent had the chance to use that version XI yet.

Just figured it out oddly enough.

The datasource needs to be set to an object that implements IEnumerable, e.g. ReadOnlyList

All works now (well as much as Crystal ever does)
