How about adding a page where we can list CSLA-oriented presentations at code camps and conferences and user group meetings?

I think you could safely set it up so forum members can add/edit/delete items in it.

That would be real boon to people who are interested in learning CSLA, because they could make face-to-face contact with people in their area.

Forgot to add, I did an Intro to CSLA presentation at a code camp in Charlotte this weekend.  There were 5 tracks to choose from and about 120 attendees at the conference, 21 opted for learning about CSLA. :)   I did another one in Raleigh last summer and it was chock full.

Not a bad idea, but there's no way to do this through the forum - not as a page. My site (lhotka.net) isn't set up for granular authorization, so this would require enhancements to the software there. The wiki (www.lhotka.net/wiki) is a fine place, though that FlexWiki software turned out to be harder to work with and manage than I'd hoped. Still, the wiki is there, and you can certainly set up such a page on the wiki.

At some point I'd like to swap out FlexWiki for some simpler wiki software like screwturn wiki. Not as powerful, but much easier to admin and work with. That'll happen sometime after I upgrade the forum software to a newer version of Community Server. The problem, of course, is that none of these things are fun, and so they fall to the bottom of the priority stack since the current stuff works adequately, if not spectacularly.
