Does anybody have the same error that I am getting on existing .NET 2.0 CSLA applications after installing VS2008?

It seems like .NET 3.5 tampered with the .NET 2.0 libraries?

I am getting this error:

System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: The input stream is not a valid binary format. The starting contents (in bytes) are: 3C-68-74-6D-6C-3E-0D-0A-20-20-20-20-3C-68-65-61-64 ...

Your best bet is to use an http sniffer or request the service from IE so you can see the html coming back.

Have you tried running aspnet_regiis?
