Has anybody had this issue with vs 2005?

It's been happening to me for the past few days...
Could it be related to Infragistics controls?

Apparently there's a solution (I should have googled first, sorry!)

Anyway, just in case there's someone else with the same problem out there, you can:
Disable Edit & Continue
or
Install a patch: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;915038

I haven't tried the patch... I will post the outcome after installing!

Ah, yes .... that one is familiar .... Sad [:(]

The error is thrown continously when developing asp.net apps, I really got sick of it. Especially since I tend to have many small projects (thing 12 in some occasions) which meant I had to 'OK' and 'Don't Send Error Report' this thing 12 times for every time it decided to throw itself at me (and it did approximately once per hour..... )..

But then I found the magic switch: disable Edit and Continue and you are good to go.

I know about the hotfix, but decided to wait for some servicepack (in other words: I;m too lazy to make that phone call).

See your Options, somewhere you can disable Edit and Continue, I'm sure it will fix this issue.

xal,

When I had that problem 3 weeks ago, one had to call Microsoft before one could get the hotfix.  I had to wait a day since the latest fix was hot just getting off the press.  But the phone call and the wait was worth every penny because I have not had a single crash since.  There may be some other unannounced enhancements too. Make that call.
