Hi,

I have been unable to use this class (EditableRootCollection), for some reason it tries to load a parent

object, but their is none at the root level, so what is the deal?

The object is a EditableRootList.

CustomerList : Csla.BusinessListBase<CustomerList, Customer>

"Parent value can only be set for child objects"

Yes, please post the exact error, because there is no "EditableRootCollection" class within the framework (do you mean the snippit?).

I guess it's the BusinessListbase class you are using. I have some notes on Editable Root Collection objects on my site http://www.onelittlevictory.com/
