Hi,
I'd like to know how I use the CSLA.NET business framework with Flex.  I was just recently hired as a software architect and have realize that my US developers are Flex/Flash developers and the CTO also has a Flex/Flash background and basically decided Flex will be used as the UI.  I need to integrate this business framework with Flex.

My India Team are .NET Developers.

My specific focus is on the business engine.  Instead of creating a Business Framework from scratch I'd like to use this framework as I've used the VB6 Framework a long time ago.  But recently have created Frameworks based on Design Patterns.

Questions:
How can I accomplish this?

I'm thinking begin with Web Services consume by Action Script exposing the business framework via the Facade or Services (Web Services).

Please let me know if I can indeed accomplish this.

My background is on the .NET environment.  My experience in Flex is limited at best.

Thanks,

Hello,

Have you looked at WebORB for .NET from Midnight Coders?  I've been fooling around with this myself.  It allows the Flash/Flex world to come together with the .NET world specifically around the notion of 'business object'.  Here's the link:

http://www.themidnightcoders.com/products/weborb-for-net/overview.html

I should say that it is a professional library, even if now free.

I hope this helped.

Thanks Eric.  This is a great start.  I'll take a look at this.  Keeping my fingers cross.

Thanks,
Joe
