Give the guy a break! On top of giving us a great framework for the cost of a book (not even that if you don't want ) , he is also providing this forum for no charge (in my opinion one of the most useful and helpful forums I have come across for a while).
If Rocky wants to make some extra cents to cover his hosting bill he has every right. (Rocky, stick a PayPal donation button on this site as well - I think it deserves it )
Anyway that's my two penneth

I have various options for different ad formats, and will be trying them over time to see what works best. I appreciate your feedback, but need to give each format a bit of time so I can get measurable results.
>>I'm not so apposed to advertizing per se, but its the flashing, and contantly moving banner ads that I find to be very desctracting
I agree. While I have no issues with a free web site doing whatever they want, I gotta say that my left eye hurts now every time I go here.
I like the ads because I'm hoping that it'll cover some costs. They are hard to look at, though.

I was seeing this just where the ad was. I had changed firewalls to Comodo (My Norton expired and it refused to let me renew over the internet and PC Mag had recommended this.)
After that I started getting notices that my C: drive was full (its NOT), and reformatted and re-installed eveything. Now the ad shows again with the same firewall.
