Why doesn't the Switchable template contain "plain" (ie. non-dataportal) versions of the methods for Insert, Update, and Delete? They are in the EditableChild template, and I don't see why they wouldn't be necessary for a "child" instantiation of a Switchable object.

That is a good point, and you are correct - each data method should exist as a Friend/internal, and the DataPortal_XYZ methods should delegate to them.

I notice as of 2.1.4 there is still no DeleteSelf() method in the SwitchableObject template. Should this exist or am I missing something?
