I haven't dive into 4.0 yet, but i know that 4.0 has Observable collection instead of binding list. For that fact alone i want to go to 4.0, but it requires .net FW 4.0 and we won't go over to 2010 for the next half year.
What exactly is requiring FW 4.0 ?
Or else is it possible to merge the Observable Collection changeset into a Csla 3.9 version?
Possible? Yes.
Will I do it? No, I don't have time.
But if someone is willing to back-port key CSLA 4 features to create and maintain a "CSLA 4 N35" (CSLA 4 for .NET 3.5) that's fine.
That would be not unlike what Jonny did to create the N2 branch, where he back-ported the 3.7 codebase into .NET 2.
