I am new to CSLA and read excpert C# 2008. I am searching for Templates and Code Generator that sypports CSLA .NET framework 3.8.3 and VS2010. I checked CSLAFactory which supports only VS2008. Can anyone tell me Which Code Generator is ideal for me? Please provide me links if any.
Thanks in advance,
try CodeSmith and CSLA 2 templates or CSLAGen - there is a whole section/thread in the CSLA forums for code generation.
I'd take a look at the CodeSmith CSLA templates. Here is a video on how to use them.
Thanks for your Reply. I downloaded Code smith also but I could not find Template beyond Ver.2 . Actually I could not locate any version above 2 based any Templates in any code generator's website. If you can guide me in this regards I will thankful to you.
Code Complete supports the latest version of CSLA.NET (3.8.x). It is an application generator and the current version supports only VS2008.

The templates are located in the Template Explorer under the Frameworks\CSLA folder. We are currently working on adding .NET 4.0 support as well as CSLA 4, Silverlight 4.0, Unit test generation, IBM ISeries support, View Generation support and much more. If you run into any bugs please let me know. The following video (http://community.codesmithtools.com/blogs/videotutorials/archive/2009/07/13/csla-the-quick-start.aspx) will get you up and running in no time.
We also support generating the templates from within VS2010. The Quickstart will add support for generating VS2010 projects shortly. In the mean time you will need to upgrade the VS2008 solution and project files with the VS2010 upgrade wizard.
I am sorry, but there is no Farmeworks/CSLA folder, no Frameworks folder, no Csla templates beyond your version 2.0 - none - nothing on you website. I have been using your products since Csla 1.0. In the past few months I have gone to your website again and again and again, and clicked on everything that moved. NO CSLA Templates beyond 2.0
Finally I decided to do all my coding by hand, and you know what, I think I can do that faster using snippets that trying to find anything on your website.
May I suggest that you hire someone to organize your website.
The templates are located inside of the my documents folder after installing CodeSmith. They can not be downloaded from our website as we have a bug tracker and download section specifically for all of our templates on Google code (http://code.google.com/p/codesmith/). To download the latest official templates you need to head to our google code site (http://code.google.com/p/codesmith/). To download the latest nightly build of the templates you can grab them from here (http://community.codesmithtools.com/nightly/csla/).
We are currently upgrading our community site to the latest version of Community Server with a more refined layout.
